Congratulations, if you’re reading this you most likely recently unlocked Commander Luke Skywalker. This Rebel legend is an excellent leader who provides amazing support abilities (as well as offensive prowess)

5. Commander Luke Skywalker, Biggs Darklighter, Wedge Antilles, Princess Leia, R2-D2The bromance with these two is real

For beginners, this proves time and time again to be one of the strongest teams in Galaxy of Heroes (for the Rebels). Commander Luke Skywalker can taunt and take the bulk of attacks, leading to better offensive opportunities for the Biggs and Wedge duo.

Red Leader Unique Team Abilities:

• Wedge has +12% Offense and +9 Speed for each ally with full Health and +15 Speed for each ally without full Health (including defeated allies). If Biggs Darklighter is present he also gains these bonuses.
• Red Squadron Strike: Deal Physical damage to all enemies. This attack deals 50% more damage to Empire enemies or enemies with 50% Health or more.
• Adrenaline Rush: Biggs Darklighter gains 100% Turn Meter and Evasion Up for 4 turns after surviving any damage from an Empire enemy or a Critical Hit from any enemy.

Unlocking Han Solo is quite the treat, his offense is stronger than most of the base characters (while starting): so have fun with his bonus attacks and critical chances. Paired with his brother Chewie, this group has tremendous synergy fighting alongside CLS.

Never Tell Me the Odds Unique Team Abilities:

• All allies gain Critical Chance Up and Evasion Up for 2 turns. Han gains 50% Turn Meter and Critical Damage Up for 2 turns.
• Shoots First: Han has +35% Counter Chance and +20% Critical Chance. The first time each turn Han uses his Basic attack, he attacks again dealing 50% less damage. Han takes a bonus turn at the start of each encounter. During this turn Han ignores Taunts and he can only use his Basic ability, but it will Stun the target for 1 turn and can't be Resisted.
• Against All Odds: Whenever Leia attacks, she has a 55% chance to grant all allies Critical Chance Up for 2 turns and recovers 5% Health and 5% Protection.

3. Commander Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Old Ben), R2-D2Old Ben proves to be a worthy member of any Light side team with his rework

This OG group comes in at No. 3 due to Old Ben’s rework. The original trilogy group has an excellent combination of offense, critical chance, and stealth abilities. As you become more advanced, this is the first group that will give you a chance against higher-ranking teams.

If You Strike Me Down Unique Team Abilities:

• Whenever another Jedi or Rebel ally takes damage, Old Ben gains a 5% Turn Meter. The first time Old Ben is defeated, all allies gain Offense Up and Speed Up for 2 turns, recover 50% Health and 50% Protection, and gain 25% Turn Meter.
• Devoted Protector: Old Ben gains Taunt for 2 turns. When this Taunt expires, Old Ben gains Taunt for 1 turn. All allies gain Defense Up for 2 turns.
• Smoke Screen: Target ally gains Foresight and Advantage for 2 turns and all other allies gain Stealth for 2 turns. R2-D2 gains 40% Turn Meter.

2. Commander Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, R2-D2

The mighty Chewbacca's roar can be heard from up to half a mile away

The combination of R2-D2, C-3PO, and Chewbacca makes this team formidable to any opponent. Chewbacca is the true star of this roster, and we will focus on his abilities.

Loyal Friend Unique Team Abilities:

• At the start of the battle, grant Guard to the weakest ally and Han Solo until Chewbacca is defeated. Chewbacca assists when a Guarded ally uses any ability during their turn, doing 20% less damage, limited once per turn. When Chewbacca deals damage to an enemy, Chewbacca and all Guarded allies recover 3% Health and 3% Protection. Guard: Can't be Critically Hit, immune to Daze and Stun, +25% Critical Chance
• Raging Wookie: Chewbacca is immune to Ability Block and Cooldown Increase. When Chewbacca deals damage to an enemy, he deals bonus damage equal to 20% of their Max Health. When Chewbacca takes damage from an attack, he gains +25% Offense and +25% Critical Chance until the end of his next turn. When Chewbacca or a Guarded ally takes damage from an attack, reduce Furious Bowcaster's cooldown by 1.
• Pulverize: Dispel all buffs on all enemies, then deal Physical damage to all enemies. Chewbacca gains Offense Up and Critical Chance Up for 2 turns. This attack ignores Defense.

The best CLS team is actually led by his Jedi Knight version. The two Luke’s synergize tremendously and with the combination of support and tank units, this team is one of the best in-game without a Galactic Legend.

Return of the Jedi Unique Team Abilities:

• All Light Side allies have +15% Critical Chance and Critical Damage, doubled for Jedi allies. At the start of each of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker's turns, all enemies are reduced to his base Speed until the end of the encounter, and their base Speed can't be increased after their Speed is set (his base value is recorded at the start of the encounter before any buffs or debuffs are applied). This Speed alteration does not affect raid bosses, and it does not activate if Luke has less than 40 Stamina in a Conquest battle or the enemy side has a similar ability or a Galactic Legend. At the start of the encounter, all Jedi allies (excluding Old Republic Jedi) gain the granted ability Heroes Arise. Heroes Arise: Dispel all debuffs on all allies then call all Jedi allies to assist, dealing 20% less damage. All Jedi allies (excluding Old Republic Jedi) recover 25% Health and Protection and gain Jedi's Will for 2 turns. Then Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker is granted 100% Turn Meter. This ability is on a shared cooldown between allies who have Heroes Arise and is immune to cooldown manipulation (Cooldown: 10).
• Jedi Knight’s Resolve: Each time Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker is damaged, he gains 5% Turn Meter and 5% Offense (stacking, max 25%) until he uses Prevailing Strike on his turn. When he attacks out of turn or is critically hit, he gains 2 Speed (stacking, max 20) until the end of the encounter. At the end of each other Jedi ally's turn (excluding Old Republic Jedi), Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker gains 10% Turn Meter. Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker is immune to Stun and Fear.
• Stalwart Advance: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and call another target ally to assist. Inflict Blind on target enemy for 2 turns. Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker gains Jedi's Will for 2 turns, which can't be copied, dispelled, or prevented. If the target other ally is a Jedi, who is not Old Republic, they also gain Jedi's Will for 2 turns. Jedi's Will: +100% Counter Chance, +50% Offense, +25% Speed, +25% Tenacity
